As part of our commitment to our diverse community we are trying to raise funds to add a new flag pole and new rainbow flag as a permanent fixture at the entrance to our school. IDAHOBIT Day at Swinburne Senior Secondary College was filled with colour and enthusiasm from teachers and students. Every mentor group was allocated a colour to wear representing the Rainbow flag. The face painting, cupcake decorating and balloons added to the fun and atmosphere.
This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to get together and be supportive of our diverse community. This was a team effort with teachers helping with all activities and our Vocational Major team operating the barbeque. Thanks to the wonderful team who helped create the atmosphere and supportive environment. This is Swinburne SSC.
