Curriculum

Welcome back families and students! We hope that you have had a lovely, much deserved, break and are ready for the final term of this crazy year! Terima kasih (thank you) for all of your ongoing support throughout these challenging times. 

We are very excited to be learning at school next week from Monday 12th October but not to worry, we have a fun week planned for our first week back! We will continue to run a morning check-in via Google Meet at 10am and reading groups at 11.40am with your child’s group on each school day except our specialist day on Thursday. Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s teacher to confirm these times and groups.

There is a limited edition choosing board this week that is much smaller, but includes some fun activities! Don’t forget to include breaks throughout the day by going for a walk, calling a family member, having a snack or maybe practising a dance! We will continue exploring addition and subtraction in Maths while we practise our problem solving strategies draw a picture, act out the problem and using number lines. In Literacy, students will write a holiday recount and we cannot wait to hear the different ways that everyone kept busy and had fun during the break!

Reminders

• Return to face to face – Monday 12th October
• 10am morning check in (except for Thursday) and 11.40 small group sessions (check class timetable for your child’s day)
• We encourage students to practise opening their lunch box and packed food so that they are confident doing this when we return to school
