Year 12 students
Year 12 one-on-one ‘Pathways Post Aitken’ interviews with Careers staff are going extremely well. They are being conducted via Zoom. Almost all students have presented for their interviews in a timely manner and, in general, the students have been very well prepared. It is such a pleasure to chat to our young people and learn of their hopes for 2021 and beyond and assist them with their research and, where appropriate, the submission of a VTAC application.
Timely VTAC applications must be submitted by 30 September (so there is still plenty of time). We are hoping all potential Year 12 VTAC applicants will have submitted their “first draft” to VTAC by the end of this term. A reminder that Special Entry and Access Scheme (SEAS) applications, including any necessary Supporting Statements and other documentation, must be submitted to VTAC by 5pm on Friday 9 October. No late applications can be accepted.
La Trobe University Aspire and ACU Community Achiever Program (CAP) applications have closed. Students will learn about the success, or otherwise, of their applications before the end of this term. VU Guaranteed (VUG) and Swinburne Early Entry applications close on Friday 9 October. ACU Guarantee applications close on 25 September.
