Year 7

Year 7 Camp

Year 7 Camp was incredible fun! Students had smiles on their faces throughout and were a real pleasure to be with. Camp Howqua is a magnificent landscape. Unfortunately, the weather was out of our control; as a result, activities were shortened and an afternoon break was included to allow girls time inside and a chance to refill their water bottles and reapply sunscreen.

The girls enjoyed immensely the activities on offer.  It was such a joy to see them encouraging each other and challenging themselves mentally and physically. Team work was a strong focus of the camp and special highlights were horse riding, the river challenge, raft building and the survivor course. It was inspiring to see the girls work together.

As a staff, we are very proud of the spirit our girls showed and we know that wonderful memories of this time will remain.

Congratulations to all students on their excellent behaviour, teamwork, communication, encouragement and support of one another and staff; your resilience, positivity, willingness to listen and learn new skills; and for extending yourselves to make new friendships. You showed courage and accepted challenges. We couldn’t ask for more!

On behalf of all staff who participated with you, heartfelt thanks for making this year’s camp totally awesome and for making great memories to have forever!
