Reconciliation Week

Reconciliation Australia’s theme for 2021, “More Than a Word. Reconciliation Takes Action”, urges the Australian reconciliation movement towards braver and more impact-ful action.

Reconciliation is a journey for all Australians – as individuals, families, communities, organisations and importantly as a nation. 2021 marks twenty years of Reconciliation Australia and almost three decades of the Australian reconciliation process. The 2021 theme, urges the reconciliation movement towards braver and impactful action.

Twenty Years of Reconciliation Australia

                                      We Remember Jan Hall

This year marks three years since our much loved colleague Jan Hall passed away. Let us continue to remember and be inspired by the wonderful qualities, positive attitude and unconditional love Jan had for her family, friends and for this College. Her plaque in the Peace Garden serves as a constant reminder of the contribution that Jan made to our College and to her family and friends.

Year 12 Retreat

Students are currently at Year 12 Retreat in Warrambui. The theme of the Retreat is inspired from Saint Ignatious of Loyola, “Go Forth and Set the World on Fire”. Please keep Year 12 and staff accompanying them in your prayers.

Pentecost Sunday

The word Pentecost is Greek and it means "50th day." Fifty days after Easter Sunday, we celebrate the coming of the Holy Spirit upon the Disciples and their followers, and the beginning of their earthly ministry. If you’ve ever felt passionate or fired up about something, then you have a small notion of what the Disciples felt in that moment. The gifts of the Spirit gave them the courage to go out and create a better world. You have these gifts also! How can you reach out to others and be a model of Christ’s love?

How can you reach out to others?

Filled With The Spirit We Pray

For the Spirit of Peace that calms our mind and stills our life, we give you thanks.

For the Spirit of Love that touches hearts and reaches out, we give you thanks.

For the Spirit of Joy that lifts our soul and gives us faith we give you thanks.

For the Spirit of Power, that gift of grace for this, your church, we give you thanks. We make this prayer through Christ our Lord, AMEN
