Selamat siang!

We are hoping everyone is doing well during this latest round of lockdown! Please keep an eye on Sentral for further updates throughout the week. Last week was a very busy week and we even managed to go to the Melbourne Museum. At this stage, we will be having 9am check-in meetings on Zoom.

In Guided Inquiry, we visited the Melbourne Museum and had the opportunity to see some amazing exhibits! We had a very busy day with us catching the bus bright and early to get to the museum! All the students did an amazing job of being respectful and responsible for the whole day.

In Reading, we kept our Sherlock hats on and continued to make inferences, this time the inferences were made about photos and videos. A highlight was watching and making inferences about Mike and Sully getting a new car! Later in the week, we made a See, Think, and Wonder for a photo that you can now see on Seesaw. As you and your child read or watch each night see what inferences you can make!

To start the week in Maths we challenged ourselves by building and exploring different 2D and 3D shapes. It was amazing to see some of the shapes that students were able to create! Later in the week, students continued to explore addition and subtraction with a focus on place value. Some students began to explore decimals.

Unfortunately, we are back in lockdown again! Please continue to keep an eye on Sentral for updates and Google classroom for daily check-ins and learning tasks. If you have any concerns, please contact your classroom teacher

Wishing you a lovely week!

Mr Dix, Miss Gasowski, Mrs McCoy, Miss Molloy, Mr O’Connor and Miss Richardson :)
