Principal Post

Dear Families,
Remote Learning
Once again we find ourselves in an Extended Lockdown here in Melbourne.
Whilst we would all like to be back at school, with one another, I trust that your children are managing the Remote Learning tasks given to them by their class teachers.
This week we have purposely tried to organise work that is not be too arduous for students and will not require unreasonable demands on parents.
From all reports, this first few days of Remote Learning process has gone smoothly. The students have appreciated touching base with their class and teachers via googlemeets. Thank you for supporting this undertaking.
Extension of the Lockdown
PLEASE NOTE:
Remote learning will continue in the coming week.
Students from P-2 will be using the Seesaw application and students in years 3-6 will be using Seesaw and Google classroom to complete set activities.
If your child does not have access to a device at home pleasecontact your child’s teacherto request the loan of a school device.
Families who need the use of a school device will be required to sign for and collect a device from the TUCKSHOP on Friday 4th June between 10:00am and 2:00pm.
If needed, P-2 students will be able to borrow a school iPad and students from 3-6 will be able to borrow a school chrome book.
It is expected that borrowed devices will be used for school-based activities only and be returned promptly at the conclusion of Remote Learning.
Specialists classes next week during Remote Learning will be held on Tuesday.
If there are any issues, please ensure you inform your child's class teacher.
As always, I am happy to take emails or phone calls.
Thank you for your ongoing support and keep safe!
