Reminder: shared expectations re phones and bags

Off Campus and Phones - Clarification 

Only students in Year 11 and 12 are allowed off campus during recess and lunch times. 

1. Students are going off campus for lunch or recess (Senior Students only) – If students are seen with their mobile phones they will be confiscated as stated in the school policy.
2. Students leaving for the day because they have studies and are not required to return to school – In this instance students can take the phone home with them for the day. Students should not be on their phone in the school grounds. It should be in their bag, and only take it out when they have left the school yard.
3. Reminder - Mobile phones must be switched off and in lockers during school hours. Please refer to Mobile Phone policy on our website.

Bags in Class - Laptop Cases

• All bags must be in lockers all day - students are not permitted to bring a bag to class.
• We are supportive of students carrying their devices in protective bags. - only laptop cases will be allowed in class.  A laptop case, is something like those pictured below. It can only hold only a laptop and mouse. Students must carry their books to classes unless they have an exemption to carry a bag.
