First Eucharist Postponed

Dear Parents

Thank you to all the parents who were supportive and understanding towards our last message about First Eucharist. We had a meeting this morning with Fr John and have decided to postpone First Eucharist.  We initially thought that this lock down would be similar to the lock down earlier this year and we would be able to go ahead with First Eucharist but the signs are looking like it is not the same.

At this stage, we cannot give any dates. Fr John has five primary schools, a secondary school and three places of worship under his care and he is by himself.  We will need to meet with him when we come out of lock down and discuss dates, as soon as we know what new restrictions will be.  We will try to give as much notice as we can.

We understand that this Sacrament is an important family event and we are hoping you will be able to celebrate with your loved ones.

Thank you to all for your understanding during these trying times.
