National Art School

During the upcoming school holidays, Year 11 Visual Art students Xya-Lilly McLauchlan and Bronte Stewart will be participating in the HSC Intensive Studio Practice at the National Art School in Sydney. Both students submitted their portfolio earlier in the year and were chosen as successful candidates out of a State wide selection from both government and non-government schools. These students had to provide a collection of their best work which demonstrated a high level of excellence in their Preliminary studies as well as a mature attitude to their practice. Xya-Lilly will specialise in printmaking, whilst Bronte will extend her study in black and white photography.
KCC wishes them all the best during their first studio residency.
We can't wait to see what they create!
