Welcome to Physical Education with Mr Scanlon!

All students have made a fantastic start to Physical Education in 2022! We are extremely proud of how all students are demonstrating our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Resilience and Safety in the Physical Education setting. Along with our school values, PE lessons have a major focus on participation and sportsmanship. All students are doing an excellent job joining in with activities and games, demonstrating fair play and supporting each other with encouragement. 

This semester, our Preps are focusing on ‘moving our bodies’ by participating in lots of different activities and games, including our crowd favourite - Toilet Tiggy! The junior school have been participating in ‘social games’ - where they have worked on skills such as throwing, catching and kicking, while cooperating with classmates.

Our middle school began the year learning all about ‘invasion games’ and the skills that are involved, including attacking, defending and teamwork. 

The senior school has focused on ‘summer sports’ for Term 1 (inline with our interschool sport!) and have now moved onto winter sports for Term 2.
