Well Done to all Year 8 and 9 students

The 8/9 Hub Team would like to say a massive well done to all Year 8 and 9 students on completing Term 1. The Hub have noticed a fantastic effort from both year levels throughout the Term. Students have worked hard in their classes and we're seeing great results and improvement.

It has been a long 10 weeks as our first full term of schooling in 2 years but students have taken it in their stride and displayed great resilience.  We look forward to Term 2 and the exciting opportunities the students have coming up. We hope everyone has a safe and relaxing holidays. See you all in 2 weeks!

Assembly

During the week the 8/9 Hub held end of term Assemblies for all Year 8 and 9 students.

We spoke to students about their achievements this term and what we have coming up in Term 2. Students were engaged with dialogue around expectations regarding phones needing to be in their lockers, earphones, wearing correct uniform and laptop usage.

Students were reminded about the new uniform options we have and that if they needed any items of uniform to see the hub for assistance.

Congratulations to students in 8J and 9A on leading the way with school values points.

We farewelled our 7 Alpine Leadership Students Tilly Anderson, Madison Flynn, Ella Faithfull, Trey Mckinlay, Patrick Cahill, Connor Harrington and Callum Clark and wished them good luck for Term 2 at Dinner Plain.

We look forward too seeing and welcoming them back at school in Term 3. We also look forward to hearing about their experiences, community project, work and leadership opportunities.
