A Message from the Principal

Last week was a special time with our Year 6 students on their School camp at Phillip Island. I was so proud of the independence, courage and persistence that all of our students displayed. We stayed at The Island Camp, along with the students from St James Vermont and experienced so many fun, adventurous and challenging tasks. These included paddle boarding, swimming, bike riding, mini golf, rock climbing and the giant swing. For many students they stepped out of their comfort zone and gave everything a go. Other highlights were the penguin parade and the night walk to the beach. It has been a great way to start the year and build stronger relationships with all of the students.

We have many school events over the next couple of weeks and I hope that you are able to come along.

  • Tuesday night is the Meet and Greet interview for Teachers and Parents to meet and to share any important information with your child's teacher.
  • Wednesday night is the Prep and New Families Dinner, hosted by the CA and Year 1 families at 6.00pm.
  • Sunday, 19 February is the Founders Day Mass for all school families at 11.15am.
  • Tuesday , 21 February is the Curriculum Information Evening for all classes, 6.30pm.
  • Friday, 24 February will be the inaugural Family Picnic. This will be at 5.00pm on the Adventure Playground. Please BYO picnic dinner or Fish 'n' Chips. This will be a great opportunity to relax and meet up with the school families.

CAMPS, SPORTS & EXCURSIONS FUND (CSEF)

Thought for the Week

'Gratitude is our sweet acknowledgement of the Lord's hand in our lives.

It is an expression of our FAITH.'

I will give thanks to you, Lord, with all my heart.  I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.  Psalm 9:1

I look forward to seeing you all at the Meet and Greet interviews and Founders Day Mass this Sunday.
