Le Page Green Team

Are you passionate about transforming our school into an eco-friendly, clean and sustainable place? Do you enjoy gardening, crafting with nature materials, recycling, and growing your own seeds and plants? Do you have a great idea how we could make our school a greener place for students, staff and wildlife?

We hope to see you Wednesday!

Le Page Green Team

Welcome back everyone! We hope that you enjoyed a lovely break with plenty of sunshine, laughter and outdoor fun. Green Team has a lot of exciting plans for 2023, so make sure to join in with the fun when you can. Here’s a quick run down of some of the things to expect in Term 1;

Chickens at Le Page

We owe a big debt of gratitude to Ben Gravina (Teddy’s Dad) for building our long-awaited chicken coop over the holiday break. Thank you so much to the Gravina family for donating your time and helping Green Team fulfil their dream to have chickens at our wonderful school. Stay tuned for our new feathered-friends to arrive within the next few weeks (Yay!)

Clean Up Australia Day

Clean-Up Australia Day is being held Nationwide on Sunday, 5th March. If you are able to volunteer your time to attend a local event that day, please do so. It is such an important event that helps promote sustainability within our communities. If you can’t get to an event, never fear, as Le Page Green Team is hosting our inaugural Clean-Up our School Day!

Green Team is inviting all students and teachers to be a part of a cleaning frenzy during lunch on Wednesday, 8th March. Please come along and help us beautify our school by collecting as much rubbish as we can…and stay tuned for an exciting follow-up competition to be held in Term 2 afterwards!

More details regarding the event will be posted in upcoming Newsletters and at school Assembly. In the meantime, here is the link to our Clean Up Le Page event:
