An important reminder for you:

We are holding a Teacher Only Day on Monday, 5 December - school will be CLOSED.

We have booked a full-day workshop with Adrienne from Liz Kane's acclaimed Structured Literacy programme. This will occur on Monday, 5 December - week 7 of term 4. This programme is dedicated to bridging the gap between evidence-based research and the teaching of reading, spelling and writing. 

We celebrate a new member on our Board of Trustees. 

Our Board of Trustees is the governing body of our school. They ensure the right systems and policies are in place and require me to apply those systems and policies within the day-to-day management of our school.

We had four returning members stand for election this year, leaving one vacancy on our Board, which, according to our constitution, is required to have five members.

Our newly installed Board met and decided to fill the vacancy by selection.

We advertised this decision on 26 October, and If 10% or more of eligible voters on the school roll asked the board, within 28 days of that notice being published, to hold a by-election to fill the vacancy, then a by-election would have been held be held.

No requests were received, so we can duly confirm Lole Tipi as the fifth member of our Board of Trustees. Our warmest welcome and congratulations to Lole.

School Photos:

What a mission this proved to be. Almost all class photos and printed individual and family photos have been done and sent out. Just a couple of late orders or photo-fix-up orders to be sent out this week.

Early this week, I will send out a Dropbox link to individual folders for your digital individual and family photos and also for your sports, team and responsibility-group photos.

If you receive an email with a link to the digital photos you ordered and paid for, please connect and download your photos promptly. The link stays valid and open for about a week.
