EISM Sport – Badminton Premiers
We congratulate Year 8 / 9 Boys and Girls Badminton teams as they finished the season off as Premiers. It was a great effort! It was also a great effort by Year 8 / 9 Girls Softball and Girls Netball teams, who were runners-up at the end of the season. Both just fell short of a win in the Grand Finals. Congratulations to both these teams on a great season.
Year 7s had a great last term in EISM Sport, with both Boys and Girls Netball teams finishing on top of the ladder. The other teams also did well, with some finishing second or third on the ladder. Congratulations on such a great effort and commitment throughout the year, particularly during Term 4. We are looking forward to seeing you continue to improve next year. All students who represented Oxley during this term did the school proud with good behaviour and sportsmanship.

2022 Olympic Change-Maker Awards
Congratulations to Dakoda Mathers (11.16) who is the 2022 Oxley nominee and recipient of the Australian Olympic Change-Maker Award for 2022. Dakoda received this award for her outstanding performance in the pool over many years. She also competed at State and National level in her swimming.
The Australian Olympic Committee expressed their appreciation towards Oxley Christian College for participating in the program.
In 2022, close to 1,000 students across Australia received the Award. The nominations have overwhelmingly highlighted how students have used sport to create change in some of the most creative and unexpected ways, proving that the power and discipline of sport is truly limitless.
