Year 6 Book Chat Celebration

As a fitting end to our three-year Junior Book Chat Program, we have introduced a celebration time to give thanks for all the wonderful books, shared rich discussions and generous parents and teachers around us who made all things possible. The students also voted on the Best Book Ever and this year, by the slimmest of margins, it is The Explorer by Katherine Rundell. 

Students have grown as active readers in so many ways and, with each reading, there have been life-long learnings. We hope they continue thirsting for the love of a book, that is a gift given over and over.
