Principal's message

Reflection:

The Second Week of Advent gives us the opportunity to prepare our hearts in faithful waiting, celebrate the birth of Jesus, and ready ourselves for his second coming.

Dear Parents and Friends,

We are getting closer to the end of a busy year! It is an exciting time for our Grade Six students as we prepare to say goodbye to them and wish them well on their future endeavours!

Christmas Star / Graduation Night - Monday 12th December

Our Star / Graduation Night will be held on Monday evening on our school oval, starting at 6.00pm.

Families are reminded that they will need to bring their own chairs to sit on.  All children will be in their school uniform and sit in their class groupings;  school children do not need to bring a chair.

The evening will be a celebration of our Christmas story, a farewell to those leaving our community as their child is heading to secondary school, farewell to staff who are leaving our school, presentation of scholarships and acknowledgement of our Grade Six Graduates.

Every class has been practising for their part in the presentation of the Christmas story. I thank our Performing Arts teacher, Louise Gulliford, who has been preparing our students for this.

Please note that this event is an alcohol free event.

We ask that toddlers stay off the playgrounds and stay with their parents during the entire ceremony as this is distracting for the audience.

If the weather is inclement, then the ceremony will be cancelled.

We hope everyone is able to join us for this celebration!

Transition Day - Tuesday 13th December
