Isla and Leon were ‘fact family’ experts when they used the same 3 numbers in 4 different equations! They remembered that in addition, the biggest number is our answer, and in subtraction, our biggest number must go first!

3/4D - Mr Mitch

This week during our reading sessions we were learning how to ask literal and inferential questions. This coincides with the comprehension stage within the CAFÉ reading strategy. Pictured below is Gus N.

Some students also had the pleasure of planting seedlings for our vegetable garden that is situated outside the 3/4D classroom. We hope to see this patch transform in the coming months.

3/4E - Ms Margarita

This term, we have been learning to write the introductions of persuasive texts using the VIP system in which students ask their readers to Visualise, Imagine or Picture a scenario. 3/4E have made a strong start with their introductions and are now working on creating convincing arguments, using a range of persuasive techniques.
