Eggstraordinary Easter Raffle – tickets sales close today!

The PFA Eggstraordinary Easter Raffle will be drawn at assembly on Thursday morning.  For some extra fun, students might like to wear some Easter inspired accessories with their uniform that day, like some bunny ears, or an Easter hat.

Make sure you're in with a chance to win the giant egg, some smaller eggs and some great merch by buying your tickets through Qkr – today (Tuesday) is the last day tickets will be available for purchase!  Ticket prices vary between $1.70 and $3 per ticket, depending how many you buy.

Thank you to everyone who has brought in donations of Easter goodies over recent weeks, and to the group of PFA volunteers, led by Candice Hall (Mum of Isabelle H in Grade 2 and Eloise H in Grade 1), who organised and wrapped them all.

Of course, first prize is once again a GIANT egg donated by our very generous friends at Lizzy's Chocolates.  This year, amongst all the chocolate and Easter goodies, there will also be some exclusive CPS Easter Bunny merch - like the beautiful framed print you can see on display in the office.  Many thanks to Lucy Gow @lucygow_illustration (Mum of Harvey F in Grade 2) for sharing her talents with us in this way, and to Deon Kamien from Print on Wood (Dad of Illan K in Grade 2) for kindly printing some of the merchandise.

The raffle will be drawn a bit differently this year, on the big screen.  A big thank you to Mark Fisher (Dad of Harvey F in Grade 2) for the many hours of work he has put into making this paperless raffle a reality.

Entertainment Books

A reminder that sales are open for the 2021 Entertainment ‘Book’.  The ‘book’ is now fully digital, with a searchable and location based app that is regularly updated, and has thousands of offers for dining, entertainment, travel and more.  CPS will receive 20% of the value of any purchase made using this link, so please feel free to share with your friends and family members.

Icypole Fridays - thank you Grade 6 Helpers

A big thank you from the PFA to Ms McGregor and the many grade 6 students who helped to run Icypole Fridays throughout Term 1.  And to the Grade 5s that stepped in when Grade 6 were on camp.  Icypole Fridays were well supported by students from across the school, and looked to be very much enjoyed by all!  We look forward to bringing these back with the warmer weather in Term 4, and we’re working on some possible winter weather substitutes for Terms 2 & 3 – watch this space.

See you in Term 2

We’re looking forward to some of our usual favourite happenings in Term 2, like the Mothers' Day stall, and Cupcake Day / Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea.

Also, watch out for some new initiatives and events, including an Apple Drive and Mothers’ Day Breakfast (save the date – Wednesday 5th May – more information to come).

Thank you very much for all the support you have provided for PFA events and activities throughout Term 1.  Everyone in the PFA wishes you all a fun last few days of term, and a safe and relaxing Easter and school holiday break!
