CROSS COUNTRY 

Echuca East Cross Country

Next Tuesday the 27th April will bring great excitement as our awesome Easties will take part in our 2021 school cross country. As this is an outdoor event and we do not have government restrictions (re Covid 19) like we do for anything held indoors (where density limits still apply) we would love to see as many parent/grandparents/carers at the event cheering on our little superstars -we’ve missed you! We just ask you to sign in with the COVID QR Code and socially distance. At approximately 9:10am our grade 3s, 4s, 5s and 6s will be assembled on the basketball court in their age groups ready for action. The 12/13yr groups will set off first followed by the 11year olds who will run 3km. The 9/10yr old groups will come next and run 2km. The ribbon presentation will follow immediately after everyone has finished. Our grade Preps, 1s and 2s will have their event after lunch beginning at approximately 12:10pm. The students will be assembled on the basketball courts and then make their way over to the back Echuca East oval where the Preps will race first (500m) followed by the grade 1s (1km) and finally the grade 2s (1km). It should be a super day and we look forward to seeing as many legendary Eastie families as possible.

MOTHER'S DAY RAFFLE

Tickets for our wonderful Mother's Day Raffle have gone home with the eldest in each family today if you require more tickets we have spares in the office.

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY

Unfortunately, due to the DET COVID-19 density restrictions, parents are still not able to attend our Assemblies. 

These assemblies are only currently permitted on the proviso that ONLY Echuca East Students and staff attend. No visitors or parents are permitted at this time. We will keep you posted if and when these restriction are amended.

However, we are extremely excited to be another step closer to normal, by being able to once again have all of our students together for our Assembly, with our first one commencing tomorrow. 

We will still upload an assembly highlight reel each week to give you a glimpse of the celebrations.
