Year 12 Chemistry – Titration Challenge
Students in Year 12 took part in the Titration Challenge. Students had 3 unknown Ethanoic Acid concentrations and used Standardised Sodium Hydroxide to find the unknown concentrations of the bottles.
Entries have been entered and we await to see how students did with the challenge!
Year 7 Science
Year 7 students are busy creating Rubber Band Cars. The best car from each class will compete at a Year 7 Assembly for the best Rubber Band Car of the year level!

GTAC Excursion
On Thursday 8 September, the Unit 3/4 Biology students participated in the “Outbreak! Identify and control the spread of a pathogen” program at GTAC.
Students were given the opportunity to explore emerging diseases, identifying how they are spread and identified.
It was fun using the equipment and seeing firsthand how scientists use specific techniques like PCR to understand infectious diseases.
