Animal Aid Coldstream Visit

Thursday 15 September

As a part of the Personal Development strand for VCAL, students have been raising funds and collecting donations for different organisations of their choice. Local Animal Shelters are the focus for one group. This forms their Major Project for Outcomes 1, 2 and 3.

This excursion enabled students to visit Animal Aid Coldstream to tour the facility to see where their donations will be used and to get an insight of the work that occurs behind the scenes.

Footy Colours Day

Tuesday 13 September

The VCAL Intermediate students held a 'Footy Colours Day' to raise money for Animal Aid Coldstream and Share the Dignity.

VCAL Community Day

Thursday 8 September

VCAL students led a fundraising event at lunchtime to raise money for MND, Animal Aid Coldstream and Share the Dignity.

Students and staff enjoyed delicious, sweet baked treats, a BBQ and cheese toasties.

The HIGHLIGHT of the day was the Teacher Ice Dunk event! So MUCH FUN!!

A big thank you to teachers Miss Iggy, Mr Currie, Mr Rogers, Mr Toma, Miss Younger, Mr Bourne and Seth Talbot (Year 11) for getting DUNKED in icy cold water.

Special thanks to Lilydale and Mooroolbark Bakers Delight and Lilydale Woolworths for their donations of bread and a gift card.
