Neddy’s Box of Noodles 

Book Launch 

This Monday (22.8.2022), at lunch time, a book launch was held to release budding author and Year nine student Bianca Bignoux’s children’s book ‘Neddy’s Box of Noodles’. It was a great way of celebrating the wild and vastly unheard-of achievement of getting a book published at the ripe age of fifteen. Close friends, teachers and family were invited, and to celebrate was an on-theme tea party and Noodle feast. Bianca sold signed copies and was able to share with her peers the experience of making and publishing a book as a teen. 

‘Neddy’s Box of Noodles’ is a fun-sized story about, quite simply, Neddy and his box, which just so happens to be filled with noodles. The playful rhymes and cute doodles (drawn by Bianca herself) make it a fun and imaginative read. Talk to Mrs Brigden in the library about snagging yourself a copy to keep, or copies are available to borrow also. 

Be sure to congratulate Bianca for her nonsensical tale and marvellous achievement when you see her around the grounds!
