Welcome to our Head of Student Wellbeing
Mr Cas Gemoh
Cas Gemoh comes to Wyndham Christian College with vast experience working in wellbeing teams in public, Catholic, and independent schools. He has extensive experience working with children and young people in a range of settings – youth work, pastoral care, out of home care, school counselling and wellbeing leadership. Cas holds tertiary qualifications in social science, theology and pastoral care, counselling, mental health and youth work.
Cas’ wide experience in this space has equipped him with knowledge and expertise in understanding and addressing some of the common (and uncommon) issues faced by our young people and their families in the Western suburbs. Cas has a passion for supporting children and young people’s wellbeing and he has an incredible ability to connect with them and their families. Cas uses a strengths-based approach in wellbeing to support students to become aware of their thoughts, strengths, and goals, and to discover and utilise their God-given talents to build resilience, improve their overall wellbeing, and make a difference in the world.
Cas looks forward to using his experience where he managed a wellbeing team in a large Catholic school, to developing a proactive wellbeing team at Wyndham Christian College, and to build upon the culture of care and support within the school community.
Welcome Cas!
