Specialists
For Term 4 the specialist timetable has not changed so the students will still be expected to wear their sports uniform on Tuesdays. The students will continue to participate in Physical Education and Information Communication and Technology (ICT) weekly. They will participate in Art, Italian and STEM on a fortnightly basis. These classes will take place over Tuesday and Wednesday.
Our library days will remain the same as Semester One. Foundation B - Tuesdays. Foundation D - Fridays.
Specialist and PMP - Foundation students are to wear full sports uniform on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Friendly Reminders
We ask parents and students to revisit our schools ‘Show Me Five’ expectations as this is essential in settling our Foundation students back to school.
Parent Helpers- If you would like to assist with our reading, writing or math block please let your classroom teacher know. We will be setting up a roster which we would like to go out week 2. Please ensure you have a current Working With Childrens Check.

Homework
For reading this term students will receive 5 take home readers. Students will change 3 and keep 2 for fluency practice. Students are to continue reading for 10 minutes a night and practice their Magic Words as allocated by their classroom teacher. Students' reading must be recorded nightly in their take home reader. We will be following our timetable from Term 3 in regards to changing readers/testing words.
Students are also required to participate in our language experience. We ask that you spend some time preparing with your child as this does give them confidence when speaking in front of the class. It would also be beneficial to discuss with your child the types of questions they might be asked and how to. Below is a guide of topics we will have for Term 4.
