Middle School

From the Head of Middle School

Congratulations to the following Year Eight students who have been recognised as classroom leaders for the remainder of 2022.

  • 8A: Jack Lange and Gladis Markey
  • 8B: Samuel Ramachenderan and Laila Cook-Barron
  • 8C: Rachel Turner and Ava Marmion
  • 8D: Charlotte Williamson and Harrison Beres

As we come to the end of the third term, we have had an incredibly busy past two weeks. At assembly on Monday, we acknowledged students who have shown great commitment to the school and their pursuits.

The Kingfisher Concert is always a highlight of the year and these events help build confidence knowing that all the rehearsal and solo practice has come together during a major performance, even if it is a bit nerve wracking! We also had the Red Moort Whole School Arts Exhibition which showcased the work of students who have been diligently working on their pieces throughout the year. It is great that students can show their work to others and share their creations. Mr Symonds, our Director of Sport, also recognised all the students who played sport over winter and made the commitment to train and play week in and week out.

In our Values and Christian Service (VACS) clubs, Middle School students were tasked with creating videos entitled “A minute at GSG”. The videos can be viewed below or via the links.

"Day in a Life at GSG"

"Co-Curricular"

"Nature and Culture"

I congratulate all students for their fine accomplishments this term and wish everyone a relaxing and enjoyable holiday break.
