Developmental Language Disorder Awareness Day

Friday October 14th is Developmental Language Disorder Awareness day.

DLD is a lifelong disability that affects 1 in 14 people. Research shows it is more prevalent than ASD, yet still largely undetected. The goal of DLD awareness day is to highlight the prevalence of DLD in the community and to bring awareness to the strategies we can all use to support people with a diagnosis.
