Residential Supervisor (Live-In), Boy's Boarding

St Philip’s College is seeking expressions of interest for a responsible and nurturing Live-In Residential Supervisor for the Boy's Boarding House. The Residential Supervisor’s primary role is to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of boarding students.

Residential Supervisors must communicate effectively with students and staff to develop positive relationships and create an engaging ‘home away from home’, ensuring our students feel safe, respected, and encouraged.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be available to work various weekday evenings and weekend shifts.

Accommodation is provided. This is a voluntary agreement separate to the initial employment arrangement.

This role requires:

Previous experience working with young people preferred

Ability to be respectful, firm, fair, and consistent in the delivery of discipline when required

A valid Working with Children (ochre card) or the ability to obtain

Residential Boarding Supervisor, Girls' Boarding

We are seeking applications for the position of Residential Boarding Supervisor Girls' Boarding at St Philip's College. The primary role is to support the academic, social, and emotional well-being of boarding students.

Our ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role and be available to work various evening shifts Monday to Friday and various weekend shifts, on a rotational basis. This position will be working in Girls' Boarding.

Essential:

Previous experience working with young people in a boarding environment
High level of interpersonal skills with strong verbal and written communication abilities
Ability to be respectful, firm, fair, and consistent in the delivery of discipline when required
Understanding of the legal and duty of care responsibilities of boarding facilities or schools
Possess a flexible attitude and be willing to work rotating shifts throughout the week
Current driving licence would be an advantage
First Aid Certificate, or prepared to obtain
A valid Working with Children (Ochre Card) or the ability to obtain

Desirable:

Certificate IV Community Services, or similar
