Middle School Play

We are still riding the wave of joy, pride, and excitement after the success of the Middle School Play Alice in Wonderland last week. The student performers and backstage crew were wonderful, and their efforts had a profound effect on the little ones who came and saw the show. Many audience members had the pleasure of meeting the characters before and after the show and partaking in the Tea Party.

There are many people who worked on this show, who sprinkled their magic on all students involved. I would like to say a wholehearted ‘thank you’ to the exceptional staff members and Year 10 Theatrecraft class for their time, energy, and passion they have dedicated to the Performing Arts Department.

To Ms Jacky Armstrong, the talented and creative director, thank you!

Year 7 Puppetry Workshop

This week our Year 7 Drama students had the opportunity to work with a representative from Polyglot Theatre to create their own puppets. We learnt so much about puppetry during the workshop. Out of a mere stack of paper, the students created life-form masterpieces that were able to breathe, move like they had limbs and interact with each other. The experience was so much fun!
