Leo T - Prep C

This term, Leo consistently displays curiosity in his learning. Sharing facts about space and the body.His inquisitive nature fuels a desire to explore and discover, constantly seeking answers to his questions and demonstrating a genuine love for learning. Thanks for being so curious!

 

Emerson H - 1C

Emerson has shown a great deal of curiosity this semester by continuously making connections to all learning areas and enthusiastically sharing his thinking and wonderings to the class. This term, he generated a range of thick and thin questions, conducted research and developed a better understanding of his information report topic, Emus. Well done Emerson for always thinking, questioning and clarifying!

 

Alejandra L - 3/4A

Alejandra continues to use her learner asset skills of researcher and thinker on a daily basis to enhance her learning. She demonstrates curiosity about the world around her by asking meaningful and insightful questions to further her understanding. This term she created open ended questions for her information text about fossils and found a lot of research! Keep up the wonderful learning Alejandra!

Finn B - Prep A

Finn always works hard to show our school value of Personal Excellence and is a great role model for others. He approaches learning with a positive attitude, always tries his best and is persistent. A fantastic effort, Finn!

Responsibility

Isabella H - 3A

is a responsible and dedicated member of 3A, Bella comes to class every day ready to learn. She takes great pride and care in her work and will always ask questions and share her ideas with her peers. She has taken responsibility for her own learning, working particularly hard in reading, writing and maths to make significant progress. You are a superstar Bella!

 

Luella D - 1A

Since commencing in Year 1, Luella has consistently strived to show responsibility both inside and outside our classroom. Luella conscientiously follows the classroom agreement and demonstrates her ability to both be an excellent self-manager but also an excellent supporting hand for her fellow classmates. Luella is always ready to learn and takes great care and agency in her own learning. Outstanding effort Luella!

Excellence in English

Lily C - Prep C

Lily has approached writing this term with dedication and persistence. She often challenges herself to write unknown words using the sounds she can hear and multiple sentences. Well done, Lily! 

 

Helena M - 1B

Helena has shown a consistent effort across all the areas of English this semester. Each week Helena demonstrates healthy reading habits and ensures she is sticking to her reading goal. In writing, not only does she present her work beautifully but she is working hard to improve her spelling by using our class spelling strategies. Lastly, Helena has put a lot of thought into organising her facts for her upcoming information report, and we are looking forward to reading all about Vanilla Lillies. Keep up the good work Helena!

 

Lucia W - 3B

Lucia is an enthusiastic student who actively participates in all literacy lessons. 

Lucia asks thoughtful questions and willingly shares valuable reflections with the rest of the class. She is a positive influence on her classmates and should be very proud of all the work she has put into summarising her research for her up and coming information report. Congratulations Lucia!

Excellence in Maths

James H - Prep B

James always works hard during our Maths Workshops. He puts in effort by trying his best and takes pride in his work. When looking at Data, James asked specific questions such as ‘Do you like Footy cards?’ and ‘Do you like running?’ to find answers about topics he is interested in.

Well done James on all of your hard work!

 

Finn E - 1C

Finn approaches our Maths lessons with a positive and enthusiastic attitude. He always has a go and is keen to learn more about numbers and explore new Maths concepts. During our addition and subtraction unit, he made sure to always show his thinking and strategies by using different tools such as the hundreds chart, tens frames and number lines. A wonderful effort, Finn! 

 

Abigail R -  3A

Abby has had a fantastic second term in Year 3 but particularly in Mathematics. 

Her mental flexibility to solve problems has improved remarkably and she can 

solve problems in many different ways. Abby is confident with number and can successfully use this knowledge in the curriculum areas length and place value. Great work Abby!
