Moth Day Drama Excursion

On Thursday 25th of May, students in VCE Units 1 and 3 went on an excursion into St Kilda to see a contemporary theatre piece called Moth. Moth is about two teenagers on the outside of society looking in. The themes were extremely relevant to students, such as community, belonging, and dealing with mental health. The students have been working on analysing this performance and being able to witness it live was exciting for all. Students on the excursion all shared their thoughts and interpretations of the performance and it was so great to see everyone engaging in discussions after the show in a Q&A with the actors. Hopefully, many more excursions will take place in the future.
