Showbie

We appreciate everyone's patience in the delay with having all students connected to Showbie for 2023. We are currently waiting on Showbie administration to create accounts for our Year Three students. We are hoping to have all students connected in the very near future.

Exposition Writing

This term the focus in writing is expositions. How can we persuade someone to agree with our point of view? Over the past couple of weeks, students have been brainstorming, planning and beginning their drafts on a piece of exposition writing. The focus of this piece is how we can make either our school or the Miners Rest community a better place. We have had some great suggestions such as ice cream days, opening the school canteen for students and having a school pet to resurfacing the basketball courts and improving the bike park. We can't wait to read the finished pieces!
