Maths Olympiad

Mr Dani Mani coordinated the Maths Olympiad for Year 5 and 6 students.  29 students from Years 5 and 6 were selected to complete the test. One Year 6 student got all 5 questions correct for 100%. It was good to see some Year 5 students competing well against the older Year 6 students and getting 3 out of the 5 questions correct.

Maths Explorer

All Year 3 and 4 students take part in the Maths Explorer competition where they work in small groups to solve problems.  This is a good opportunity for them to practice their problem-solving skills, in preparation for being eligible for the Maths Olympiad.
