National            Reconciliation Week

This week our school recognised National Reconciliation Week. Reconciliation Week has provided students and staff the opportunity to further learn about the histories, cultures and futures of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples. We also had the opportunity to look at ways we can build on positive and respectful relationships between Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples and non-Indigenous Australians.  The theme for National Reconciliation Week 2023 is ‘Be a Voice for Generations.’  It has been wonderful to see all the activities that been happened in each classroom throughout the week, from guided reading tasks to amazing art projects.
