Traditionally, May is the month devoted to Mary, Mother of Jesus. The lyrics of Woman of the Sacred Heart, written by James Maher MSC (who also wrote the Monivae school song) is worth reading to understand the role of Mary in the Chevalier story.

World's Greatest Shave
As I mentioned at the end of last term, we finished with the World’s Greatest Shave event.
Our Monivae community really gets behind the WGS with much enthusiasm. We raised in excess of $8000, donated hair, and had a positive influence on those in our community who are struggling with Blood Cancer.
We also celebrated the Easter season with two liturgies, these being the Stations of the Cross and Resurrection Liturgy.
Both of these liturgies showed how Jesus made the ultimate sacrifice to help us, and then rose again to offer new hope.
Students from each level were involved in the running of the liturgies.
