SCHOOL NEWS

Beginning at the start of term two, the 3:15pm finish on Mondays will change to a Friday afternoon. The 3:15 finish used to coincide with assembly and this shift will ensure that it matches again. It will also give another 15 minutes of learning time earlier in the week which can and will be well utilized.

SCHOOL CROSSING

Please be mindful that you adhere to the signs at the front of the school. We have been advised that people have been seen crossing against the advised times.

SCHOOL DROP OFF

Please note that children are not to be dropped off at school before 8:30am.

Offenders will be called.

DISABLED CAR PARKS

The disabled car parks are not to be used (unless permitted) during drop off and pick up times. This includes the ones near the church and the 1/2 classrooms.

Parents and Friends Update

Term 1 has started a little quiet but looks like everything is starting to go back to normality.

Due to very low booking numbers for lawn bowls, the event has been cancelled. As we emerge from a quiet 2020 we appreciate there is a lot happening. Moving forward the P&F will require pre bookings for events. The P& F will ensure all future events have an advertised date that bookings will close. Whilst we acknowledge this isn’t the normal practice from our past events, there is a great deal more planning and preparing required now as a result of COVID together with the priority to ensure events are viable.

All tickets purchased for the event will be refunded.

Dad’s night will be held on Thursday, 25th of March at The Croydon Hotel.

Subway Food Day, Friday, 26th of March.

Baker’s Delight Fundraising- order forms due by the 26th of March with 2 preferred days of delivery (Monday, 29th and Tuesday, 30th).

Sausage Sizzle for STAR day - Monday, 29th of March.

All funds raised in Term 1 will be put towards The Resilience Project that our children are currently participating in.

Our 2021 Prep Parish Dinner will also be held in the hall this Friday, 19th of March from 7:30-10:00 pm.
