School Year Thank You 

Dear Ballarat High School Community,

Thank you to all members of our community in what has once again been under very challenging circumstances. To have multiple lockdowns, remote learning, lots of normal school life events taken away again, all this has made learning difficult and school life different.

I congratulate our 2021 Year 12 cohort who, after two years of VCE / VCAL during the pandemic, have shown perseverance and resilience to successfully complete year 12, finding themselves ready for the next chapter of their lives. I wish them all the very best.

To our current Year 8 students, who still have not had a regular school year, it is also frustrating. Let's hope we can provide them a normal Ballarat High School Year 9  experience in 2022.

To all of our students, thank you for all you have done this year, endeavouring to do your best.

Thank you to our parents and carers, who have also learnt a lot from the pandemic and taken on the role of teacher/coach/tutor in supporting their students.

I acknowledge our staff, teaching and education support, for all their work again this year. I am very proud of our staff and all they have achieved in such trying of circumstances.

May I wish all of our community a safe and happy school break.
