Gratitude

May the spirit of love gently fill our hearts and homes. In this loveliest of seasons, may we all find reasons for happiness.

Look around! Listen! As we lead up to Christmas, which can often be a time of rushing around, take the time to stop and show our gratitude towards one another.

William Arthur Ward, a writer of inspirational sayings, says, “Feeling gratitude and not expressing it is like wrapping a present and not giving it.”  (I thought that was a very apt saying for this time of the year).

So thank you, parents, for trusting us to look after your precious children this year. To teach these young people at Holy Family is a blessing.

Thank you, children - each day, one of us shares a beautiful or funny anecdote about things you do and say. Some days can be challenging, but we are honoured to be part of your educational journey.

Thank you, colleagues, for helping to create this wonderful school community. For fun, the unfailing belief that we can help make a difference in the lives of the children we teach and the friendship.

May the gift of peace be with each family this Christmas.
