Remembrance Day

LEST WE FORGET

On Thursday 11th November, we held our school's Remembrance Day Service. Remembrance Day marks the date in 1918 when the First World War came to an end. Each year we all observe a minute's silence at 11am to remember those who have died or suffered in wars, conflicts and peace operations.

We thank our students for showing one of our school values, Respect, during this service. Many students also made donations to the RSL by purchasing a poppy, badge or wristband. Students also completed class activities about Remembrance Day.

A big thank you goes to our School Capatins, Yom and Saxon, who led the service with the help of Mrs Harris and Miss Arnold. We also thank Mr Schubert , who once again did a fabulous job playing the "Last Post" and sounding the "Reveille".
