The Last Pieces

I recently announced a range of staffing changes across the School and introduced new members of the BMGS teaching team. At that time there were still some missing pieces of the staffing puzzle. I am very pleased to announce that we have now appointed teachers to all positions for 2022. Along with them comes an extraordinary breadth of experience and a range of valuable skills and perspectives .

In 2022, the Senior School Mathematics Faculty will be ably led by Mrs Catherine Van Gelderen as our new Head of Department. Mrs Van Gelderen will carry on the proud tradition of Mathematical excellence alongside two new teachers already known to our students; Mrs Sandie Naumann and Mr Anil Chopra. The Senior School Humanities faculty, to be led by Mr Tristan Forsyth, will include Mr David Sands (Business Studies specialist) and Mr Tim Grace (International Studies specialist). 

In the Junior School, Mrs Danielle Roberson will leave us to return to her original training as a High School English teacher. In her place we have appointed Ms Amy Spohr, an experienced Primary Educator with qualifications in Visual Art and Design.

With valued teachers moving on, there is much planning underway to celebrate their time among us and honour their contribution to our School. I am sure you will join us in wishing them well and welcoming the new members to our School community.
