Principal Post

From the Principal. . .

Dear Families,

THANK YOU sincerely to our parents for your support across these past few days whilst the Parish Carpark is being resurfaced.  We appreciate your understanding and patience.

As you would have read in today's email, we will still need to use the back gate tomorrow (Thursday) and hopefully the car park will be finished.

I am awaiting the Parish  to inform us as to when  parking bays will be marked.  Without these bays, parents and carers need to be particularly careful when dropping off and picking up your children!

FOR EVERYONES SAFETY, PLEASE BE MINDFUL, ALERT AND CONSIDERATE.

School Photos

Please remember School Photos will take place next TUESDAY 25th February. Students wear their Summer Uniform and if they have PE or Performing Arts on that day bring some runners to change into. Please note that should you wish to have a sibling family photo you are required to come into the office and fill out an order form.

Year 3 Fun Day activities

As part of our Outdoor Education Program our Year 6 and 4 students participate in a School Camp. These Camps will be held in July and September respectively. Camps are clearly a terrific opportunity for students to strengthen their friendships whilst engaging in a range of new  learning experiences.  Our Year 3 students as a precursor to the School Camp experience will enjoy a range of outdoor and indoor activities  held at school from 3:30 -7pm this coming Friday. The activities will culminate in a shared dinner.

3-6 Swimming

Swimming for year begins next week at SWIMWORLD !  Tuesday the students will undergo  assessment to form swimming ability groups and on Wednesday they will undertake their WATER SAFETY DAY.

All permission forms should be back!!! Remember all students need a swimming cap.... $2 available from the school office. (exact change only)

Open days - We need your help!!

Our First Open Day Tours conducted  on Monday were very successful! The School and Publicity Captains joined me as we welcomed prospective families for 2021!

As parents, you are the greatest advocate for our school. There will be a number of Open Days in terms 1 & 2. The next Open Day for this term will be on Tuesday March 3rd.

There is a flyer in the office with all the dates and times for Open Days.

You are able to assist by

  • promoting our school to your friends and neighbours
  • giving a flyer to a neighbour, or a friend from Kinder or Child Care
  • placing a flyer in your shop or business

If you can assist please come to the office and see Miss Leyla tomorrow.
