A little dog is found at a family picnic. the family enjoy their day playing all afternoon with the stray dog. Of course, the children wish to take the dog home but know they can't because it must belong to a family who love him. The family say good-bye and go home. All week they think of the stray dog and wonder about him. One week later the family go back in hope to find the little dog. They find him! The dogcatcher finds him too! The quick thinking children find a way to save the little stray dog.
