Visual Arts

In Foundation Visual Arts we created a class banner to show how we can be kind to each other and our families during Lent. By Making good choices, and helping others, we can show kindness as our beautiful pictures demonstrate.

In Visual Art our Senior Students created Kindness Boxes, after discussing how they make kind choices that align with the Values of  Caritas. We discussed how important it is to not HAVE more, but to BE more, in the way that we treat those around us by showing random acts of kindness. These were then written as intentions, and placed in our Kindness Boxes, which we decorated with contributions indicating our Actions of Kindness during Lent

This week in Visual Art our Junior students created images of themselves of how they can show harmony in the world.

We talked about looking after each other, being kind and peaceful in what we say and do. We also looked at Picasso's peace symbol of a dove and how the symbol of an olive leaf brings hope.

The final artwork is currently on display in the school foyer.
