EASTER RAFFLE
It's that time of year again for our annual Easter Raffle!
Families are kindly asked to donate an egg or other Easter items to our fundraising event. Please have all donations in the classroom tubs by MONDAY 28TH MARCH (Prizes will be wrapped Sunday 3rd). We are aiming for five prize packs per class as well as a teacher hamper!
Tickets for the raffle are $2.50 each. Individual tickets and bundles are available (5 ticket bundles are $12 and 10 ticket bundles are $20). The raffle will be held at assembly on the last day of Term 1 from 12:45pm.

HOT CROSS BUN DRIVE
Bakers Delight in Elwood has offered our school a great deal on Hot Cross Buns. Only $8 per half dozen with $2 per half dozen going back to St James. Buns come in a variety of flavours to tempt even the fussiest of eaters!!
These include Fruit (Traditional), Fruitless, Chocolate chip, Chocolate Chip & Mocha, and Apple & Cinnamon.
Delivery will be made once a week in the last two weeks of term. Meaning you can have fresh Hot Cross Buns for 2 weeks if you wish!
…… Or order up big for the Easter break (always great to freeze too!)

At the start of March we celebrated Shrove Tuesday with Pancakes and all sorts of tasty toppings Thanks to all the volunteers who flipped their way through the morning and were generous enough to offer up second helpings.
With Easter approaching we have a couple of very popular fundraising events happening:

THE COLOUR EXPLOSION RUN– is back bigger and better this year. This will form the major fundraiser in 2022, but will also focus on giving the children a unique experience to promote fun and physical activity. It will be held on Friday May 6th at Elsternwick Park. We are hoping to have as many in our school community present as possible there to help make the day run smoothly.
Details on the full program, and how each child can fundraise will be emailed out next Friday 25th March. Each child will also receive their own fundraising booklet at school to start them off.
Money raised from this event will go towards PMP Equipment (Perceptual Motor Program) to help our younger students improve their eye/hand and eye/foot coordination, fitness, balance, locomotion and eye-tracking skills.
The PA are very grateful for the continued support of all our parents and school community.
