Visual Art with

Mrs Boskovska

This term our Grade 6 students did an illustration and used inspiration from what lights up at night. We used contrasting colour to add emphasis on the objects, which have been selected to stand out and shine bright at night. They added value (tone) in their artwork by using hatching, crosshatching and stippling to make their artwork look 3D.

Grade 5 students have been decorating their loom to create a weaving. We learnt how to measure and cut notches on the plate to make the warp threads to do the weaving. We used the under-over pattern when we weave.

Grade 3 and 4 have been making Mexican Folk Art Animals using posca markers. We have been learning about symmetry and folk-art patterns.
