The students competed against the best swimmers from across central Victoria. The standard of competition was very high and our team is to be congratulated for both their individual achievements, and for the way they conducted themselves throughout the day.

One of the highlights of the day was the performance of our Girls relay team who finished 2nd in their heat (5th overall). The team comprised of Remy K, Ursula A, Arlie C and Elsie P. We also had outstanding individual swims from Charlie F (3rd in the 10 Years boys breaststroke), and Remy K (2nd in her freestyle heat, 5th overall).

I would like to thank the parents/carers for organising the students on what was a Curriculum Day for SGPS.

Sandhurst Division Tennis Championships

Well done to Callum F and Maya D for their performance at the Sandhurst Division Tennis Championships last week. Both students were representing SGPS and the Deborah District.

The quality of competition was very high and both students are to be congratulated on their performances throughout the day.

Callum has won his way through to the LCM Region final on the 4th April, whilst Maya finished 3rd in the Girls event. Awesome effort!
