It has been a busy and exciting time for Arts Faculty members, music teachers and enthusiastic arts–minded staff at the senior school. The reason? Planning our up and coming Arts Fringe Festival and … the 2017 School Production.
Arts Fringe Festival
The Arts Fringe Festival will be held on the night of Tuesday 30 August at the senior school, from 6pm – 8pm. It will be held across the music space and Kalimna, each room and surrounding outdoor areas showcasing some of the work in progress in Drama, Music, Media, Design and Visual Art classes. Audience members will be given a map that highlights what performances and exhibitions will be happening when and where over the above spaces. You might find musicians in cupboards, drama acts happening on balconies, films projected on walls and art works amongst the surrounding greenery of the property.

2017 School Production
It's a GO! On Monday this week we began a series of workshops with all those students and staff interested in helping to create our production for next year. Held in The Blackbox theatre, we looked at getting to know each other through a series of fun drama games, learning what skills and interests we can bring to the production and working on some composition activities to begin the process of a collaboration. Collaborating will ensure a creative, imaginative and ORIGINAL work.
