Term 3 has moved at a cracking pace here at Henry Kendall!  Our focus, as always, is to provide quality education in pursuit of excellence for our students. The following outlines strategies and events that have featured in Term 3 and will be evident in Term 4 to support our students:

Stage 6 Preparation Program – Year 10

A reminder to parents this program will be in full swing from week 7 next term, and will replace the students normal timetable for four weeks.  Full payment is $110 – final payments are due now. Please see attached note for further information

Year 11 Subject Selections 2019

Congratulations to Year 10 for their efficient follow-up and selections for their subject pathways next year.

Year 7 Transition for 2019

Henry Kendall High School is considered a school of best practice for the transition plans we have in place. Our transition program is well and truly in action with the STAR program starting last week. Miss Reynen is working very hard getting to know our new year group for next year. We look forward to many visits over the next term.

Year 11 End of Course Examinations

Year 11 students are currently completing their end of course examinations in readiness for their pathway into HSC Term 4. Tuesday 16 October (Week 1 Term 4) all students will be interviewed to review their subject patterns and pathways for the next 12 months. Further information will be e-mailed to students.

Year 11 Key Dates for Term 4

  • 16 October:   Year 11 into 12 interviews
  • 17 October:   ELEVATE Study skills day
  • 24 & 25 October:    Year 11 Crossroads Camp (note issued to Year 11 on 14 September).
  • 1st instalment of $85.00 due 27 September (with permission note).
  • 2nd  instalment of $80.00 due 18 October.

Best wishes to our wonderful Year 12 - you will be missed. The HSC examinations commence on Thursday 18 October.
