CHS Winners

Congratulations to the following students for their outstanding effort at the recent CHS Athletics Carnival at Homebush

 

Charlotte Gott (Year 7) – Charlotte finished 7th in 200m girls 12 - 15 years multiclass event

 

Lateesha Mead (Year 7) - Lateesah finished 4th in Javelin girls 12 - 15 years multiclass event, 9th in long jump 12 - 15 years girls multiclass, 11th in shotput 12 - 15 years girls multiclass

 

Ebony Wright (Year 10) – Ebony finished 2nd in long jump 16+ years girls multiclass event, 3rd in 100m 16+ years girls multiclass (CHS record). Ebony is now the CHS record holder in the T20 class for both the girls 12 - 15 age and 16+ years age group. Ebony may have also broken the the U18 T20 Australian record for the 100m.

 

Katie Gunn (Year 9) – Katie finished 1st in the 15 years long jump with a jump of 5.96m. She also broke the CHS record which has stood since 1982. Katie also won the 15 years 200m. She will now will go to the National Titles in Cairns later in the year.

 

Oscar Tebbutt (Year 11) – Oscar finished 1st in the 3000m walk.

 

A huge thanks to Mr Paul McNally for all of his support with our athletics achievers.

Year 7 Sport

During the last 5 weeks of Term 3 students in Year 7 have been attending Laser Tag and Ten Pin Bowling. There have been lots of students who have been improving their skills at each of these sports. Congratulations to all of the students who have been getting strikes at Ten Pin Bowling.

A special mention must go to Cayden Simmons who bowled a Turkey on Monday. Well done Cayden

Congratulations Charlotte Topp!!

Charlotte Topp has competed at CHS Trampolining on Friday 28 September 2018. Charlotte has come away with 3 Gold Medals. She then competed in the Champions of Champions finishing in 5th place. What an amazing achievement Charlotte, congratulations!

And Congratulations to Miranda Topp!!

 

 

Congratulations Miranda Topp on your results at CHS Trampolining on Thursday 27 September. Miranda won 2 silver medals and 1 bronze medal, what a great achievement!
